Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Operating Engineer to manage electrical and mechanical systems at the assigned New York buildings. You will maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems, handle preventive maintenance, and respond to service requests with a focus on minimal client disruption.

The role requires 4 years of relevant trade experience, a high school diploma or GED, and Universal CFC certification.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; CFC certification preferred.
• 4 years’ experience in electrical/HVAC trades including rooftop units and UPS.
• Proficiency with IT tools and platforms; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and update CMMS data for building systems.
• Keep HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire life safety systems in good order.
• Perform preventive maintenance and handle service requests promptly.
• Assist with installations of equipment and review contractor work.
• Maintain inventory of parts and submit replacement requests as needed.
• Support Lead/Chief Engineer with operational improvements and cost projects.
• Interact with customers professionally while adhering to safety and codes.
• Comply with Engineering Services Compliance Program and training requirements.
