Job summary

MIH Systems Group is seeking an HVAC Dispatcher to coordinate service calls, installations, and maintenance for our Cromwell, CT team. You will communicate with customers, keep detailed records, and support technicians across the region.

You’ll update dispatch software, work with inventory, and collaborate with sales and service departments to prioritize customer needs. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or a related role, ideally within HVAC or a similar industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions with customers and technicians.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule HVAC technicians for service calls, installations, and maintenance tasks.
• Communicate with customers to understand HVAC issues, schedule appointments, and provide updates on service status.
• Maintain constant communication with HVAC technicians in the field via phone or dispatch software.
• Keep detailed records of service calls, customer interactions, job status, and technician assignments.
• Update the company’s dispatching software or system with accurate and timely information.
• Work closely with inventory and procurement to ensure technicians have parts and equipment.
• Partner with sales and service departments to align on priorities and customer needs.
• Handle emergencies, delays, or breakdowns by adjusting schedules and reassigning tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and address concerns promptly and professionally.
