IES in Garland, TX seeks an HVAC Designer to support project design, layouts, and documentation. You will coordinate with project managers, vendors, and customers to keep projects organized and on schedule, while maintaining accurate records. A background in drafting or design and basic HVAC knowledge is helpful, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in drafting, design, administration, or project coordination.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, construction, operations or design environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update HVAC project layouts, designs, and related documentation.
• Review plans, specifications, and project information for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate design requirements with internal and external partners.
• Maintain organized project files and reports in company systems.
• Support project managers with design-related administrative tasks.
• Identify and resolve design concerns promptly.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
