Job summary

GH Engage in Dallas, TX is seeking an in-person HVAC/Plumbing Designer responsible for designing and coordinating mechanical ductwork and plumbing systems for commercial projects. You will produce coordination drawings, review drawings, attend meetings, and visit job sites.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read contract drawings and specs.
• Experience coordinating multiple activities.
• Strong communication with internal/external customers.
• Ability to handle emergencies with calm and urgency.
• Full-time schedule, M-F with possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work per plans, specs and fabrication standards; advise PM on conflicts.
• Mark up submittals showing modifications
• Monitor when coordination/ detailing require changes beyond contract drawings.
• Attend job meetings as requested by PM.
• Generate full coordination drawings and required documentation.
• Provide clear, dimensional drawings.
• Visit job sites as necessary to complete tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
