Qualifications

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and HVAC software.
• Experience with Trane TRACE or similar and equipment selection software.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical aspects of commercial or institutional projects.
• Perform routine mechanical engineering assignments using standard techniques.
• Write and edit mechanical specifications and select systems and devices.
• Use engineering software to develop HVAC loads and energy analyses.
• Prepare construction documents for HVAC and plumbing design.
• Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.
• Supervise Mechanical CAD Technicians and coordinate with architects and other disciplines.
• Assume project construction contract administration including field inspections.
• Perform other duties as needed.
