Job summary

Hooper-Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a design-focused HVAC lead to oversee the design and coordination of systems on design-build projects. You will plan, organize, and direct execution to meet cost, quality, and safety goals while supporting field coordination.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background with HVAC design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, and strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and trades on complex installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• EIT certificate in Wisconsin preferred.
• 2–3 years of HVAC design experience preferred.
• Experience leading diverse project teams and coordinating design.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for design-build projects to codes and standards.
• Pursue new business opportunities through client relations and presentations.
• Coordinate design issues with clients and other disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, manage submittals, and distribute information.
• Oversee drafting for design/build and support project managers.
• Improve in-house design standards and participate in LEED projects.
• Stay updated on Wisconsin codes and disseminate changes.
