Job summary

Jobot is seeking an HVAC Design Engineer/Designer in Milpitas, CA. The role focuses on developing HVAC solutions with solid AutoCAD experience and a background in Mechanical Engineering or MEP design for commercial or industrial projects.

The candidate will present designs to Senior Project Managers, coordinate with engineering and construction teams, and manage design packages through the project lifecycle in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.

Job Details

We are seeking an HVAC Design Engineer / Designer with strong AutoCAD experience and a background in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Design, or MEP Engineering. The ideal candidate has experience working on Commercial or Industrial projects and understands the full engineering and design process from initial concept through final construction documents. This role involves developing HVAC Engineering solutions, presenting designs to Senior Project Managers for review, and completing detailed design packages following approval. Candidates should be comfortable managing their design responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle while collaborating with engineering and construction teams.

Must Have:

• Hands‑On AutoCAD Experience
• HVAC Design or Mechanical Engineering Experience
• Commercial or Industrial HVAC Project Experience
• Background in MEP Engineering, Mechanical Design, or Construction
• Ability to Develop Engineering Concepts and Complete Design Packages
• Experience with Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications
