Gustave A. Larson Company in Minnesota is seeking a Counter Sales Representative with refrigeration knowledge to join our team. You will engage customers at the counter, assess HVACR needs, quote pricing, process orders, and support warranty paperwork while ensuring accuracy and timely service.

This role requires strong HVAC product knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Evening/weekend on-call opportunities are possible with additional pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Counter Sales Representative or customer service experience with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years of HVACR field experience, and/or degree/certification in HVACR is strongly preferred.
• Combination of education and related experience will be considered.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, customer-focused professional in fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work overtime and be on-call occasionally on weekends (additional pay).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter and in person, on the phone, and online orders.
• Provide pricing, quotes, and credit terms; process sales and warranty paperwork.
• Stock the store, keep it clean, and know store inventory.
• Support HVACR product recommendations for residential and commercial jobs.
