Job summary

Watsco is seeking a Counter Sales Associate for our Bakersfield, CA showroom to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service. The role focuses on the sales counter and supporting both dealers and end users in a fast-paced HVAC environment.

Responsibilities include showroom merchandising, selling, up-selling, and resolving customer issues while maintaining safety standards. Requires 1+ year counter sales experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service.
• Ability to work independently, but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check in accordance with applicable state laws

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and outside sales people, vendors and contractors.
• Responsible for showroom merchandising and re-stocking product.
• Assist in resolving customer relations problems with both dealers and end users.
• Complete sales order process for customers with efforts to up-sell associated items.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties asassigned.
