Job summary

Baker Distributing, a leading HVAC wholesale distributor in the Fort Walton Beach area, is seeking a Counter Sales Associate who can deliver outstanding customer service while driving sales at our showroom counter.

You will assist walk-in customers, source parts, and coordinate with internal sales and vendors to fulfill orders. The role requires strong communication, basic MS Office skills, and knowledge of HVAC parts and equipment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Experience handling HVAC parts and knowledge of equipment is preferred.
• Experience in sales or counter sales in a wholesale setting is ideal.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good data entry and purchasing order skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company to maximize sales at the counter.
• Assist walk-in customers and callers with product sourcing and order routing.
• Maintain showroom merchandising and restock products.
• Resolve customer issues and provide product information.
• Process sales orders and upsell related items.
• Coordinate with internal sales, vendors, and contractors to fulfill orders.
• Ensure safe, organized, and compliant workspace.
