Job summary

Mechanical Services & Design seeks a seasoned Controls Installation Technician to lead HVAC controls installations in Dayton, OH. You will install, wire, and commission building automation systems for commercial and industrial projects, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include collaborating with project managers, performing inspections, and mentoring teammates to maintain high standards. A valid US driver’s license and ability to read technical manuals are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in HVAC controls systems.
• Niagara Certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and apply technical manuals and drawings.
• US citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems including conduit, wiring and components per design specs.
• Commission newly installed systems and verify operation as designed.
• Communicate with clients to ensure needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Mentor and train junior team members to raise technical proficiency.
