Colorado State University is seeking a journey-level HVAC and Controls Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and service HVAC and BAS systems across campus facilities in Fort Collins. The role requires advanced BAS knowledge and hands-on experience with boilers, chillers, and diverse HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, programming control systems, and coordinating parts for timely repairs, ensuring efficient operation and reliable building performance.
This is an HVAC Technician position with advanced BAS systems knowledge. This position will troubleshoot HVAC Mechanical systems and have the ability to utilize controls systems to aid in this effort. This position is a fully functioning journey level HVAC and Controls Technician, which is responsible for troubleshooting, installation, monitoring, repair, and service for the following systems: HVAC and Building Automation Systems (BAS) and all related hardware, software, and automated alarms, boilers, chillers, and HVAC equipment, and associated mechanical components. Troubleshoots, monitors, repairs, and services a variety of HVAC/R equipment including programing, calibrating, testing, monitoring and adjusting system parameters for efficient operation.
