Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks an engineer to design, configure, and operate complete building control systems including HVAC, lighting, nurse call, and data networks.

You will deploy Niagara Framework-based systems and integrate BACnet and Modbus, coordinating with field teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include developing software, creating submittals, and providing field training while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Experience with HVAC systems and building automation
• Knowledge of control theory and building subsystems
• Experience integrating low-voltage subsystems using protocols like BACnet/LON

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and operate complete building control systems (HVAC, lighting, data networks, etc.)
• Develop software and commissioning procedures, ensure system meets project requirements
• Prepare submittals and drawings; coordinate deliveries and installation
• Provide field training and support during commissioning and handover
• Ensure safety and quality standards are followed on site
