Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4-6+ years in commercial HVAC, energy, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, contracting, and customized solutions.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara based Open Protocol Systems.
• Facility Management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of BACnet/IP protocol preferred.
• Programming HVAC sequences of operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train sales force to use consultative controls and building automation solutions.
• Develop strategic plans to meet district sales quotas with timelines and resources.
• Create and implement sales strategies to win energy-efficient HVAC systems.
• Identify opportunities and execute strategies for Integrated Service Solutions.
• Prepare pipeline reports and communicate sales activity and plans.
• Collaborate with engineering groups to analyze operating costs.
• Support site surveys and data collection for qualified opportunities.
• Coordinate with project management to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Represent the Daikin brand at regional events and trade shows.
• Work with marketing for speaker events and publications.
• Collaborate with regional managers, energy engineers, and project managers.
• Maintain partnerships with subcontractors and reps to meet sales objectives.
• Develop value propositions with energy savings and financing options.
• Contribute to risk mitigation and pre-proposal reviews.
• Promote Daikin Applied as a green, environmentally responsible manufacturer.
