Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• 4-6+ years in commercial HVAC, energy, or related field.
• Knowledge of procurement methods and customized customer solutions.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara based or similar Open Protocol Systems.
• Familiarity with BACnet IP protocol.
• Programming of HVAC sequence of operations (preferred).
• Facility Management experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coach and train Daikin’s service and solutions sales force in consultative selling.
• Develop strategic business plan to meet district sales quota.
• Identify viable opportunities and execute sales strategies for new energy HVAC systems.
• Prepare pipeline reports and sales activity to achieve goals.
• Coordinate with project management to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Represent Daikin at regional marketing events and trade shows.
• Collaborate with regional leaders and energy engineers to analyze operating costs.
• Maintain partnerships with subcontractors and reps to align sales objectives.
• Create customer value propositions for Daikin Applied services with energy savings and financing options.
• Participate in risk mitigation and pre-proposal reviews.
• Promote Daikin Applied as green and environmentally responsible.

The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
