Job summary

QBS Controls is actively seeking an HVAC Controls Project Technician to program, start up, and commission building automation systems on new construction and retrofit projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

You will program DDC controllers and build graphics, perform point-to-point checkout, and support commissioning efforts in collaboration with field teams. This full-time role offers competitive pay and company benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with DDC/building automation systems.
• Experience programming controllers and building graphics is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or similar protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

$28.00 - $42.00 per hour, based on experience

Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area | Full-Time

QBS Controls is looking for an HVAC Controls Project Technician to program, start up, and commission building automation systems on new construction and retrofit projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

What You'll Do

• Program DDC controllers and build system graphics per project sequences of operation

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience with DDC / building automation systems
• Experience programming controllers and building graphics preferred
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or similar protocols a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Pay and Benefits

• $28.00 - $42.00 per hour, based on experience
