Job summary

QBS Controls is seeking an HVAC Controls Installation Foreman to lead field crews on commercial building automation projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This hands-on leadership role requires deep knowledge of controls installation and a track record of guiding teams.

The role emphasizes planning, coordination with contractors, quality control, and mentorship of technicians, with a compensation range of $35.00–$45.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC controls / building automation installation experience.
• Prior lead or foreman experience running a crew.
• Strong ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, submittals, and sequences of operation.
• Working knowledge of DDC systems and low‑voltage installation practices.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation crews on commercial HVAC controls projects.
• Plan panel locations, wire routing, and conduit layout from project drawings.
• Coordinate daily with general contractors, mechanical contractors, and other trades.
• Perform quality control on all installation work and correct deficiencies.

QBS Controls is looking for an experienced HVAC Controls Installation Foreman to lead field crews on commercial building automation projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows controls installation inside and out.

What We’re Looking For
