Johnson Controls in Utah is seeking an HVAC Controls Lead Project Systems Specialist to lead on-site control systems projects from design through commissioning. You will balance technical delivery with customer satisfaction and strong commercial results across multiple facilities.

The role requires on-site leadership, coordination of subcontractors, and accountability for project financial performance, with a focus on safe, efficient system handover to owners.

Qualifications

• Technical associate degree with two years of field experience, or four years of equivalent related field experience in the HVAC industry.
• HVAC experience with mechanical systems and DDC.
• Relevant hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.
• Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Lead control systems projects on site and ensure work is completed to scope, schedule, quality, and financial objectives.
• Oversee hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout.
• Manage project costs, billings, collections, profitability goals, and cash flow.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance to System Technicians, Electrical Installers, System Designers, and subcontractors.
