Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC/Controls technician to start up, commission, diagnose, and repair environmental-control systems at customer sites. You will be the face of the company, ensuring on-site service meets customer needs and safety standards.

A High School Diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience are typical; Microsoft Office and handheld devices proficiency is required. A valid driver’s license and DDC/controls experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years in HVAC/Controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months with clean driving record in last 3 years.
• Experience with DDC controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start up and commission new systems; diagnose and repair environmental-control systems.
• Serve as the direct customer contact; service products on assigned projects.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site requirements.
• Stay current on Trane products related to installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of DDC systems.
• Enforce safety standards and manage company assets.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional overnight stays.
