Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based technician to start up and commission HVAC systems, diagnose faults, and repair environmental-control equipment at customer sites. You will serve as the main customer contact and coordinate on-site installations with the team, while maintaining safety and product knowledge.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in HVAC/Controls, with DDC/NIAGARA exposure and a valid driver’s license. EPA preferred; travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• HVAC/Controls experience 3–5 years; Niagara experience a plus.
• DDC controls systems knowledge and hands-on repair experience.
• EPA preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record for recent years.

Responsibilities

• Start and commission new HVAC systems and diagnose/repair environmental-control systems.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and service equipment on projects at customer locations.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installations and repairs.
