Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC/Controls technician to start and commission systems, diagnose and repair environmental-control equipment at customer sites. You will be the primary company contact on-site, ensuring satisfaction and coordinating with the team to meet precise requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years in HVAC/Controls, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with on-site safety and documentation. EPA knowledge and hands-on DDC experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have HVAC/Controls experience and a valid driver’s license.
• Preference for technical training or school in HVAC/controls.
• Experience with direct digital control (DDC) systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start and commission new systems, diagnose and repair environmental-control systems.
• Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements on-site.
• Maintain knowledge of installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of DDC systems.
