You will work full-time during summer (potentially part-time during semesters) exciting exposure to Controls Systems Engineering, Installation, and System

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during summer and possibly part-time during semesters.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• US citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and shifting business needs.
• Strong initiative, persistence and a desire to learn.
• Highly motivated and driven to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with specification, installation, and commissioning of new construction projects.
• Learn HVAC systems through office and field experience at construction sites.
• Modify Johnson Controls designs to meet project specs.
• Read and interpret control drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Read and write software code used in controls applications.
• Install, inspect, commission, and troubleshoot control systems.
• Generate controls and equipment submittals and support approval processes.
