You will work with technicians, project managers, and engineers to specify, install, and commission new construction projects, while learning HVAC controls and system commissioning both in office settings and on job sites. Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Construction, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Available to work full-time for 40 hours/week during the summer break and potentially part-time during school semesters.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
• Must embrace change and handle shifts in direction.
• Strong initiative and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Specify, install, and commission new construction projects with experienced teams.
• Learn HVAC systems in office and on-site construction/renovation settings.
• Provide modifications to JCI designs to meet job specs.
• Read control drawings and blueprints/specifications.
• Read and write software code.
• Learn to install, inspect, commission, and troubleshoot systems.
• Generate controls and equipment submittals and request approvals.
