Job summary

Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an HVAC Controls Internship designed to provide hands-on experience within our Building Automation Systems (BAS) organization. You will work alongside engineers and field teams to support design, programming, commissioning, and operation of building control systems.

You will gain exposure to HVAC controls, building automation technologies, system integration, and project execution while applying knowledge from your studies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Interest in HVAC/building automation and construction industry.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and configuration of building automation and HVAC control systems.
• Develop diagrams, sequences of operation, layouts, and bills of material.
• Assist programming, testing and troubleshooting building automation software.
• Coordinate project documentation, drawings, and schedules.
• Support material ordering, tracking and project processes.
• Participate in controller loading, startup, commissioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Observe and assist customer trainings on BAS.
