Building Controls and Services, Inc. (BCS) is seeking a Controls Engineer Intern to support design, tracking, and installation of building automation systems.

You will work with the Controls Team Lead on multiple projects, including material ordering, database updates, programming, and debugging of control software. The intern will assist with startup, certification, and turnover of projects, while coordinating with field teams.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of automation systems, HVAC and electrical concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, and manuals.
• Proficient in AutoCAD drafting standards.
• Proficient in using Windows OS for workstation/server applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Solid math abilities and data interpretation.
• Strong problem solving ability.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Valid driver license.

Responsabilidades

• Update pertinent job-related information and documentation.
• Assist with sales estimating on potential or current projects, including labor/material pricing.
• Assist with installation, startup, and turnover of control projects.
• Provide customer service and technical assistance to build and maintain relationships.
