Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Project Designer to develop clear design documentation for Building Management Control Systems, focusing on HVAC controls, using project specs, drawings, and sales docs.

You will create diagrams, cable pulls, submittals, and perform preliminary electrical sizing calculations to ensure safe, compliant operation, while aligning with CBRE RISE values and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Must read, analyze, and interpret documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with CAD tools and basic drafting concepts.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Create riser, flow diagrams, material lists, sequence of operations, panel layouts, termination details and equipment schedules.
• Create cable pull drawings.
• Prepare submittals and O&M manuals.
• Perform basic electrical calculations for operation and safety.
• Size control valves and dampers as required.
• Select components based on availability, project estimates and regulations.
• Model CBRE RISE values in work.
• Follow standardized procedures to meet deadlines.
