Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Designer to provide clear, accurate design documentation for installation of Building Management Control Systems, typically focused on HVAC controls, based on project specifications, mechanical drawings, and sales documentation.

You will create riser diagrams, flow diagrams, material lists, sequence of operations, panel layouts, cable pull drawings, submittals and O&M manuals, and perform basic electrical calculations to ensure safe operation; you’ll work

Responsibilities

• Create riser diagrams, flow diagrams, material lists, sequence of operations, panel layouts, termination details and equipment schedules.
• Create cable pull drawings.
• Create submittals and O&M manuals.
• Perform basic electrical calculations to ensure system operation and safety.
• Perform sizing calculations for control valves and dampers.
• Select components based on availability, project estimate, job requirements, regulatory compliance and engineering standards.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
