Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems (5+ tons). You will work under minimal supervision and communicate effectively with customers, ensuring satisfaction and timely service.

The role requires leadership in diagnosing and repairing heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment, reading wiring diagrams, and handling parts delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 5+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification required.
• Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area.
• EPA and safety certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Works under minimal supervision to perform commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional manner.
• Diagnoses and services heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed or required.
• Delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
