Job summary

Carrier Enterprise, a leading national HVAC distributor, seeks a Commercial Outside Sales Engineer to drive sales across engineers, contractors, architects, and owners. The role focuses on unitary heating and ventilation systems, controls, and related materials within the CE distributor network.

The successful candidate will leverage a Mechanical Engineering background to design, price, and bid projects, while building strong relationships with dealers and contractors across the Carrollton

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven technical sales, HVAC sales experience.
• Solid understanding of HVAC principles.
• Verifiable experience with specified products.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM/Database tools.

Responsibilities

• Contact and call on engineers, contractors, architects, and owners to achieve sales and gross margin goals.
• Conduct sales, design, and application training to key decision makers.
• Assist engineers and contractors to specify CE products in designs and bids.
• Create new business through prospecting and territory development.
• Take-offs of plans and specifications; develop and price estimates and proposals.
