Job summary

Sales Xceleration Recruiting is seeking a commercial HVAC sales professional to own the DFW market. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with GCs and engineers, and manage the full sales cycle from bid to close.

Ideal candidates have 3–7+ years in outside sales for commercial HVAC or building systems, with proven success in new construction and a strong network in the DFW area.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years outside sales in commercial HVAC or building systems.
• Proven experience selling into commercial new construction.
• Established relationships with GCs, MEP engineers, or builders in DFW.
• Understanding of commercial HVAC systems (rooftop units, chillers, VRF, air handlers).
• Experience navigating bids, specs, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Demonstrated success meeting revenue and gross-margin targets.
• Proactive, relationship-driven approach with the confidence to pursue and close significant projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new commercial HVAC construction opportunities in the DFW market.
• Build and strengthen relationships with General Contractors, MEP engineers, construction managers, and developers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from identifying projects to closing contracts.
• Partner with estimating and pre-construction teams to develop competitive proposals.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walkthroughs, and project presentations.
• Position HVAC solutions within project specs and design plans.
• Build a strong pipeline of opportunities and drive revenue growth.
