Job summary

Johnson Controls has an opening for a Project Development Application Engineer at our San Antonio production facility. You will lead technical discussions, partner with customers, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver complex HVAC solutions from concept through testing and validation.

Qualified candidates bring a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5 years of refrigeration experience, plus the ability to guide cross-functional efforts and create practical tools for field sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5 years experience in refrigeration or a related field.
• Understanding of the principles of large refrigeration systems and associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams to design HVAC solutions.
• Develop and test HVAC solutions with field teams and customers.
• Create tools and documentation to accelerate responses to inquiries.
• Coordinate with design, product management, and sales to align customer requirements.
• Provide training and develop sales tools and white papers.
