Job summary

Landmark Property Services Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician with HVAC certification to support daily property maintenance. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and cleaning to keep units and common areas safe, clean, and welcoming.

On-site work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with on-call shifts and overtime for emergencies. Competitive benefits include medical and dental options and bonus opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

HVAC certification is required.
6+ months maintenance experience or related field.
Excellent customer service and resident relations.
Ability to promote positive relationships and trust with residents, coworkers, and staff.
Friendly and courteous attitude toward residents and team members.
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to rotate on-call shifts and overtime for emergencies.

Responsibilities

Complete maintenance and repair work orders promptly and professionally.
Perform general maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and cleaning.
Assist with apartment turnovers and preventive maintenance.
Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities.
Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
Work closely with the on-site manager and maintenance team.
Follow all safety standards, company policies, and Fair Housing laws.
