Job summary

Gumenick Management Company LC in Richmond, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform property maintenance tasks across apartment communities. The role includes inspecting vacated units, handling repairs, electrical and plumbing tasks, and maintaining safety standards.

Requirements include at least 1 year in property maintenance, HVAC certification, and ability to work full-time weekdays with on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

At least one year of experience in property maintenance.
Available to work full-time Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends and on-call emergencies.
Skilled in safe use of tools for general maintenance in a multifamily community.
Certified in HVAC systems and experienced in interior/exterior painting a plus.
Good reading and oral communication skills.
Able to reason, analyze information and apply judgement to solve problems.
Ability to work outdoors in all conditions for extended periods.
Team player with a cooperative attitude.

Responsibilities

Inspect vacated apartments and inform supervisor of needed repairs.
Report supply needs to supervisor.
Respond to service requests including electrical, plumbing, and painting.
Adhere to safety and maintenance standards for equipment and hazardous materials.
Support company policies and fair housing compliance.
