Mahaffey Apartment Company is seeking a Maintenance Tech – HVAC Certified to support the Maintenance Supervisor and Executive Director in daily property operations. The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, guest relations with residents, and safe, compliant repairs across systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep; follow safety rules; maintain records; and respond to on-call needs.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in multifamily housing.
• Proficiency in English for written service requests and communication.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work weekends and varying shifts.
• Commitment to safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Mahaffey Hospitality—polite and professional with residents, non-residents, staff and management.
• HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and parts replacement; operate Freon recovery unit and maintain logs.
• Electrical repairs including wiring, breakers, switches, relays, and outlets.
• Repair gutters, windows, doors, and general carpentry tasks.
• Plumbing repairs including drains, toilets, faucets, water heaters, and pipes.
• Operate and maintain golf carts, including battery care and safety.
