Job summary

Bryten is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor with HVAC certification to lead our maintenance operations at The Landmark South in Doral, FL. The role requires on-site work, on-call rotation, and a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

Salary is $30.00–$34.00 per hour. Responsibilities include leading the maintenance team, coordinating service requests, making-ready apartments, and performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or vocational training required.
• 3+ years of building, facilities, apartment, or property maintenance experience, including supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• HVAC certification and/or trade certifications in electrical, plumbing, or related fields required.
• Ability to read diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, and safety documentation.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and support maintenance team with safety, accountability, and customer service.
• Coordinate and prioritize service requests, preventive maintenance programs, and repairs for timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee apartment make-ready operations and ensure vacant homes are prepared for occupancy.
• Perform and supervise maintenance repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Conduct inspections of apartments, common areas, building systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and management to support operations and capital projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inventory, and work orders.
• Support community appearance by overseeing grounds and exterior maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and participate in on-call rotation.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety regulations; promote a safe, welcoming environment.
