Job summary

Bryten in Florida's Saint Petersburg community is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations and support a skilled team, ensuring safe, attractive living spaces for residents and guests.

You will manage service requests, preventive maintenance, and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry while upholding safety standards and coordinating with vendors on capital projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of building/facilities maintenance experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry and general maintenance techniques.
• HVAC certification and/or trades certifications in electrical/plumbing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations and lead the maintenance team to ensure safe, attractive, well-maintained community.
• Coordinate and prioritize service requests, preventive maintenance and repairs to meet resident expectations.
• Supervise apartment make-ready tasks and ensure vacancy readiness.
• Perform and supervise repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and building systems.
• Inspect homes, common areas, and grounds to ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and management on projects and budgets.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inventory, and work orders.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
