Job summary

The Mahaffey Company is seeking a Maintenance Tech – HVAC Certified in Florida to assist the Maintenance Supervisor with building operations. You will support residents and staff, perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks, and help maintain a safe, professional environment.

Ideal candidates will hold an EPA Universal Technician license, have 2 years of multifamily housing experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Technician license is required.
• Two years of experience in multifamily housing.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals.
• Must provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot/repair A/C & heating systems and related electrical.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, and miscellaneous building systems.
• Perform general maintenance and safety tasks as directed.
• Operate and maintain equipment, vehicles, and tools safely.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule; respond promptly.
