Mid-FLA Heating and Air is seeking a dependable HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Florida. The role focuses on performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on residential and light commercial HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and customer comfort.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, prides themselves on quality work, and enjoys building lasting relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of HVAC maintenance or service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and maintenance best practices.
• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups on air conditioning and heating systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify wear, leaks, or potential issues.
• Replace or clean filters, inspect electrical connections, and verify refrigerant levels.
• Communicate maintenance findings clearly and professionally to customers.
• Recommend repairs or system improvements to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
• Maintain detailed and accurate service documentation and reports.
• Ensure company vehicle, tools, and equipment are maintained in safe working order.
