Job summary

Milhaus is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service its Class A multifamily properties. You will repair and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and grounds, supporting resident satisfaction and retention.

You will handle work orders within 24 hours, supervise preventative maintenance, and comply with safety regulations. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. HVAC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• English language proficiency both written and verbal.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable private transportation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with maintenance and repair of mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Receives service work orders and completes work within 24 hours.
• Polices grounds as daily priority and throughout the day.
• Refurbishes vacant units within five working days or less.
• Performs painting, cleaning, grounds work, etc.
• Plants, prunes, weeds, seeds or removes foliage as requested.
• Operates mechanical or electrical equipment and garden tools.
• Assists with preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Reports property losses or liability incidents promptly.
• Reports injuries promptly and follows safety rules.
• Complies with regulations and company policies.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
