Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a Building Systems HVAC Maintenance Specialist in Unadilla, GA. The role performs preventive and corrective HVAC work, following CMMS work orders and safety standards, including on-site supervision of subcontractors.

We're looking for 1–3 years of HVAC maintenance experience in commercial or residential settings, with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building systems. A valid GA driver's license and EPA 608 certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years HVAC maintenance experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Solid understanding of HVAC equipment plus one or more trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or general building maintenance.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and as-built drawings.
• Valid in-state Driver’s License required.
• EPA 608 Certification required; HVAC Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance and limited installations based on CMMS work orders.
• Service and maintain motors, engines, pumps, belts, fans, air handling units, VAVs, and fan-powered boxes.
• Maintain safe operation of environmental controls and boilers; manage auxiliaries (pumps, tanks, air compressors).
• Investigate and diagnose issues using inspection, testing, and monitoring methods; operate tools safely.
• Escort subcontractors and oversee their work on-site; maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Assist in training technicians from other disciplines; provide mentorship.
