Job summary

State of Colorado’s CDOT is seeking a Utilities/HVAC Maintenance professional to maintain, repair, and install building mechanical systems including heating, cooling, and electrical components at HQ and other facilities in the Denver area.

The position requires at least four years of HVACR and/or building automation experience or an equivalent combination of education and work history. Expect standard benefits and potential for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• At least four years of full-time professional experience in HVACR and/or building automation programming.
• A combination of related education, apprenticeship, and/or experience equal to four years.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conditions of building equipment (boilers, HVAC, controls, etc.).
• Troubleshoot unscheduled breakdowns and diagnose issues.
• Repair and install building mechanical systems and electrical components.
• Coordinate with supervisor on delays and action plans for repairs.
• Assist with snow removal and safety-related duties as needed.
