Job summary

Mall of America in Bloomington, MN is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to service, test and repair building systems and life safety equipment. You will work with HVAC units, read schematics, and follow strict safety protocols to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for guests and team members.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally a 2-year HVAC/ Refrigeration program with refrigerant recovery certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
• Reading blueprints, schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Basic computer skills and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, service and repairs on HVAC equipment.
• Test, calibrate and repair Building Systems equipment.
• Maintain life safety equipment and fire sprinkler systems readiness.
• Follow Lockout-Tagout procedures and safety protocols.
• Work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
