Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the refrigeration field building systems operations.
• Trade/technical certificate in HVAC service and operation.
• Certification in refrigerant recovery.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and control schematics reading skills.
• Knowledge of building life and safety systems operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all American Dream HVAC equipment.
• Perform testing, repairs and calibrations on all American Dream Building Systems equipment.
• Analyze HVAC system performance and make adjustments to ensure safe and peak operating efficiency.
• Work with HVAC Technicians on small projects such as equipment repairs and replacements, system upgrades and major repair.
• Respond to emergency calls concerning life and fire safety, fire sprinkler system, water, gas and take corrective action.
• Assist mall tenants with concerns of equipment operation and space temperature.
• Ensure inventories of supplies and parts are sufficient and assist HVAC Supervisor with purchases of such items.
