Job summary

Seagate Technology in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Facilities HVAC/Refrigeration Maintenance Tech Lead to supervise daily HVAC operations and ensure reliable building systems. You will manage technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance, and interface with internal customers and vendors to keep the facility running 24/7.

The role requires HVAC certification or equivalent, CFC certification, and a boiler license or willingness to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification or 2 years’ experience or equivalent formal apprenticeship.
• CFC Certification required.
• Boilers license or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with CMMS and MS Office is preferred.
• Johnson Controls experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HVAC Technicians on day-to-day activities and coordinate tasks.
• Write work orders and interface with internal customers.
• Interface with vendors to coordinate building repairs.
• Order parts/tools and manage inventory; perform PMs and repairs.
• Operate and maintain AHUs, VAVs, chillers, and refrigeration units.
• Use the BAS/JC I system to monitor and troubleshoot faults.
• Respond to emergency calls and adhere to safety regulations.
