Job summary

Walmart’s WM Supercenter #217 in Lewisville, TX seeks a full-time HVAC service professional to install, maintain and repair building systems, ducts, and controls. The role requires safety-first work, on-call support, and strong collaboration with managers and technicians.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification and 2+ years in mechanical maintenance or building controls.
• Option 1: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, plumbing, material handling- equipment, or related trades.
• Option 2: 2 years’ store experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
• Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for refrigerants.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI/DWI/OUI in last 5 years.
• No more than two moving violations in last 3 years for CDL holders.
• No preventable accidents in last 3 years while operating a CMV.
• No serious FMCSR violations in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC systems, related building equipment, ductwork, and control components.
• Configures and calibrates direct digital controls and building automation systems.
• Interprets layout plans and technical docs to guide installation and meet codes.
• Diagnoses and resolves mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Performs preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Conducts system inspections and verifies proper operation of HVAC components.
• Ensures safe operation of tools, equipment, and vehicles per safety policies.
• Coordinates and documents work orders, parts usage, and warranty claims.
