Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, HVAC, in Spring, TX to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. You will interpret technical docs, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep facilities running smoothly.

You will use digital tools for work orders, rotate on-call duties, and collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement and ensure high‑quality facility services across sites.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction‑related field.
• Option 1: 4 years’ experience in related trades (mechanical/electrical/plumbing).
• EPA 608 Certification for refrigerants is required.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• No major driving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems, ductwork, control components per codes.
• Configure and calibrate building automation and direct digital controls.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues affecting systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to reduce downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and parts usage.
• Operate company vehicles safely within assigned regions.
• Coordinate work assignments with management and partners.
