Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. in Bluefield, WV seeks a Maintenance Person responsible for operating and maintaining heating, cooling and related equipment to ensure safe, reliable building comfort.

You will report to the Site Manager and perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and turnover work on apartments, while maintaining common areas and following safety practices. Candidates should be physically capable, have a valid driver's license, and be prepared to work flexibly to keep property

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow written instructions.
• Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and inspect electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with basic preventative maintenance and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heaters, air-conditioners and related equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on apartments and common areas.
• Turn over units after vacancy including furniture removal and cleaning.
• Report safety issues to Site Manager and follow up on open items.
• Keep detailed maintenance records and operate power equipment safely.
