Job summary

Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center is seeking an experienced Building Engineer/HVAC Mechanic to maintain large hotel mechanical systems, including boilers, chillers, BAS, and related equipment. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work solo or in a team, and reliable communication.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with CMMS, Excel, and other office tools, and be physically capable of performing high-rise maintenance tasks, with

Qualifications

• Experience with large building mechanical systems (boilers, AHUs, chillers).
• Preventive maintenance of mechanical rooms and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with BAS and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, air handlers, fans and pumps.
• Monitor equipment performance in the BAS and adjust as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized mechanical rooms and document rounds.
• Assist with repairs to kitchen and laundry equipment as required.
