Job summary

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Technician to lead building systems across our Denver, CO campus. Under the Engineering Manager, you will ensure energy efficiency and reliable operation of BAS/EMS, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, and related equipment.

This full-time role requires 7+ years in building operations, strong diagnostic and code knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and facilities staff.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in HVAC or technical school coursework preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in building operations, engineering and maintenance including BAS/Direct.
• Knowledge of local fire, safety and building codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Building Automation System operation and drive energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot BAS, perform minor repairs and calibrations.
• Conduct preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Coordinate with vendors on issue resolution and upgrades.
• Support capital improvement projects and system turnover.
