Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a seasoned Control Systems Engineer to design, configure, and service comprehensive HVAC building control systems for client facilities. You will develop software, run commissioning, and ensure quality, timeliness, and safety.

Collaborate with sales, service teams and subcontractors to deliver reliable building control solutions while preparing submittals, drawings, and schedules. This role upholds Zero Harm standards and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 8+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of the construction, service, or HVAC industry.
• Understanding of control theory and building automation systems.
• Experience integrating low voltage subsystems using LON, BACnet, etc.
• Strong communication skills and CAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures and services technically complex building control systems.
• Develops software programs and performs commissioning for client facilities.
• Coordinates drawings, equipment schedules and submittals for installation.
• Selects, orders and tracks materials for assigned jobs and suppliers.
• Provides field change information and owner/operator training as needed.
